| Smashing time
I live in Ancoats. I have lived here for 13 years. It is sometimes rough because people keep bottle smashing and sometimes there are muggings. But I like living in Ancoats and I think I will live here when I am older. I will be more mature and sensible and not hang around the street like I do now. Some of the people have been here for years, so why should they put up with the bad things that go on? I always talk with the old people, and I get on very well with them. My nana lives near me and she’s very important to me: I wouldn’t like her to be upset by the people smashing bottles and making a lot of noise. James |
